I don’t often take selfies. A little too close for comfort! But I love this selfie that my friend Judy and I took when we and her dog Pepper took a walk along a mountain creekside a couple weeks ago. It’s the three ladies getting exercise and enjoying God’s creation. And two of us ladies enjoyed encouraging conversation to boot, sitting on a big boulder, listening to the roaring water beneath us “singing” God’s praise.
In my opinion, the above mentioned combination has no equal in bringing out inner sparkle! Here’s what the psalmist wrote about good fellowship:
Oh, how wonderful, how pleasing it is
when God’s people come together as one.
It is like a gentle rain from Mount Hermon falling on Mount Zion.
It is there that the Lord has promised his blessing of eternal life.
